Bursaries

One of the SSAW's core remits is to support the delivery of the aim of the UK Film Council and Skillset to encourage a more diverse film workforce.

Members of under-represented groups are encouraged to follow SSAW courses through outreach activity and the, in the past, provision of Skillset bursaries for study.

in 2005-7, SSAW has offered Pre-entry study bursaries for post-graduate study. In 2005-9 we also offered Merit Based Scholarships for postgraduate research

From the Academic year 2010-11 we will no longer have pre-entry bursaries for MA courses.
