She then worked in public sector film funding for South West Arts, the South West Media Development Agency (where she was Chief Executive) and at Sgrin Cymru as Head of Production. At Sgrin she was responsible for developing 12 feature scripts per annum, and supporting an average of three feature film productions per annum. She has acted as Executive Producer on a number of feature films, including the BAFTA-winning A Way Of Life (Amma Asante 2005). She is currently working with Modern Television in Cardiff on a remake of Tales Of The Unexpected and other television projects, with FabulaFilm (Italy), and with Robin Hardy (The Wicker Man) on feature projects.

She is a tutor on the EU-supported Maia Workshops training programme for new producers. Judith lectures on aspects of film at universities and public venues. Her special areas of interest are the US and UK avantgarde and underground film movements (1940-1985), and film and the occult. She has researched and published on Maya Deren and recently on film and magic and The Wicker Man.
