Know Your Voice and How to Sell It For the Recorded Industries
Marina Caldarone Masterclass
Marina studied drama at Aberystwyth University before becoming a theatre director including residencies as Associate Director of Theatr Clwyd and Artistic Director Queens Theatre Hornchurch, alongside an extensive freelance career in Britain and abroad.
She has been a regular lecturer on contemporary theatre since ‘98 and continues to work as a guest director in London’s leading Drama schools; and she has run workshops for professional actors and directors at The Actors Centre since 1986.
She is drama director of Crying Out Loud a Voice Over Demo Production Company, making CDs for actors entering the voice industry, is an acting coach in television and works within training in the Commercials sector.
She has been a freelance radio drama producer since 2000.
She co-wrote Actions, An Actors’ Thesaurus with Maggie Lloyd Williams, also 3 new radio monologue and duologue publications, Radioactive, with Marilyn Le Conte published by A & C Black. And has written The Good Audition Guide series, published last year by Nick Hern Books.
She is an occasional journalist for The Stage Newspaper writing on radio drama and the Voice-Over industry.
