The Skillset Screen Academy Network™will:
- Develop curricula in line with industry needs and standards.
- Receive extra resource and support from the UK film industry including the Skillset 100, which supplies guest speakers from the film industry.
- Work together, with Skillset and the industry, to share best practice, facilities and resources.
- Increase the diversity of the film industry by offering bursaries to those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Signpost both employers looking to recruit, and individuals looking to choose a course, to the best film education and training the UK has to offer.
- Be evaluated every two years to ensure they continue to meet the highest standards possible in order to educate and train the brightest and best for the UK film industry.
