Masterclass and Short Course Diary

Many of the following FREE events are open to the public with an interest in film and/or a Screen Academy Wales course. If you would like to attend a masterclass listed below please contact Hannah Raybould to reserve a place.

You snooze you lose - SSAW NO SHOW POLICY...
Please note that SSAW has felt it necessary to introduce a NO SHOW POLICY due to the significant numbers of student and graduates who fail to turn up to free events for which they have reserved  places  (in particular where places are limited and those on waiting lists miss out on the opportunity). 

Therefore, if you have reserved a place at a SSAW event you are asked to give a minimum of 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend (barring any last minute emergencies).  If you fail to attend the event without giving any notice SSAW will make a note of this.  Once you are on the no show list you will NOT be able to access our equipment or events.

Short Courses

Reduced places on CULT Cymru short courses

Visit www.cultcymru.org and navigate to the training pages to view current courses and workshops.

As SSAW students you are eligible to access the core business skills courses* at discounted union member rate of £10 per course and as members of the NUS you will be able to access ALL CULT Cymru courses at the discounted union member rates (including NLP**, Project Management and Digital Photography).

Only 2 SSAW spaces are allocated to each course so please email beth@cultcymru.org before you book to confirm that places are available and to receive your discounted code.

*Core Business Skills workshops include CV Development, Portfolio Development, Marketing & Promotion, Marketing and Promotion Online, Finance For Freelancers.
