SSAW students win five out of nine awards at Ffresh 2008

SSAW are delighted to announce that five young SSAW filmmakers won awards at Ffresh 2008, the Student Moving Image Festival of Wales, including the Best of Festival award which went to Yiorgos Moustakis (MA Film IFSW) for his fiction film about a discarded prostitute.

In addition the Pitch to Win Award sponsored by Nesta, SSAW & Skillset Cymru went to Vesa Kuosmanen, (MA Film IFSW) for his multiplatform project ‘Generation X’).
The SSAW winners are:

‘SEXY ROBOT’ by Joel Skinner (MA Film IFSW)

There were also winners from other courses at the University of Glamorgan and the University of Wales, Newport as well as the North Wales School of Art & Design and the University of Wales, Lampeter.
