Backstage at the BAFTA Film Awards 2010

Skillset are offering you, SSAW students and graduates, the chance to attend a backstage event for film students at the BAFTA UK Film Awards on the 21st of February.

Please see details below. We have 17 places allocated to SSAW film and animation courses.

We can offer you a £5 bursary towards your travel (though please note that the event will finish around 10pm so travelling home may need to be on the Monday morning, please consider this before applying for a place).

Following the success of last year's backstage event, Sony Ericsson will be offering you the chance to get closer to the Orange British Academy Film Awards.

Taking place in the Linbury Theatre of the Royal Opera House - right next door to the Orange British Academy Film Awards - this exclusive event is a must for movie-loving members of the public.

Join an audience of film students and film fans to watch the ceremony live on a big screen as our panel of high-profile film experts react to and debate the results.
In an informal and fun atmosphere, audience members will contribute to the panel discussion as they share their own reactions to the winners.

Plus, before and after the ceremony, there will be the opportunity to put your questions to citation readers, industry insiders and BAFTA Award winners as they are welcomed to the stage from the main auditorium.

TIMINGS: Doors open 5.30pm, ends at 10pm
