TRAINEES SOUGHT FOR TWO TRAINING SCHEMES

6 MONTH ART DEPARTMENT TRAINING SCHEME
If you have a passion for art and have been looking for a way to launch your career in drama production, this training scheme could provide the answer
Cyfle is looking for 4 enthusiastic individuals to participate in this 6 month, full time vocational training scheme for new entrants to the creative industries. Trainees are sought in the following grades:
- Stand-by Props Trainee
- Trainee Props Master
- Trainee Set Decorator
- Trainee Art Department Runner
Interested? Remember, for this scheme you must –
- Be 18 years of age or over (no higher age limit)
- Be a new entrant with 12 months or less of working in the creative industries

In a nutshell..
- 6 month full time intensive vocational training course
- Based at BBC Cymru Wales in Cardiff
- Trainees will receive a weekly training allowance
- Closing date for applications: 25 March 2010
- Interviews will be held between the 19 – 30 April 2010
- Scheme start date: 7 June 2010

10 MONTH DIVERSITY TRAINING SCHEME*
If you are passionate about broadcasting and want to learn from the best, this unique training scheme could provide the answer.
Cyfle is looking for 3 enthusiastic individuals from a Black or Ethnic Minority* background to participate in this 10 month, full time vocational training scheme for new entrants to the creative industries. Trainees are sought in the following grades:
- Trainee Production Management Assistant x 2
- Trainee Junior Graphics Designer x 1
Interested? Remember, for this scheme you must –
- Applicants must be from black or ethnic minority backgrounds
(For the purposes of this positive action training scheme the following racial groups are being specifically targeted and will be referred to as ‘Ethnic Minority’ – Asian; Asian/British; Black/British; Black/Other; Chinese; Middle/Near Eastern; Mixed Ethnic)
- Be 18 years of age or over (no higher age limit)
- Be a new entrant with 12 months or less of working in the creative industries
* This positive action training scheme was developed in accordance with section 37 of the Race Relations Act 1976 to encourage the potential of Black and Minority Ethnic groups in positive action training in areas of employment where there is shown to be under representation.
