What is a micro-budget feature, and how can it be financed? Film-makers Ben Pugh, (Producer ‘Shifty’) and Andy Noble, (Producer ‘Extraordinary Rendition’) will be in discussion with Film London’s Head of Production, Maggie Ellis and production finance consultant Mike Kelly. With Film Agency for Wales’s Head of Talent, Keith Potter and Adam Partridge in attendance.
The panel will be followed by a screening of Extraordinary Rendition, a hard-hitting political thriller made on a micro-budget. That tells the story of an innocent man plunged into an Orwellian nightmare of being 'rendered'.
Afterwards you can meet the filmmakers in the cinema bar.
This event is supported by Skillset, forming part of Film London’s Microwave Roadshow. Film London’s Microwave was the first UK micro-budget feature production fund, launched in January 2006. Film London’s Microwave challenges film-makers to produce a feature for no more than £100,000 and provides training for film-makers throughout the production process, from script to marketing.
