WHAT IS THE Screen Academy Wales POST GRADUATION FACILITY (PGF)?
A four-month programme of personal development for selected graduates from Skillset Screen Academy Wales courses.
The scheme consists of -
- industry focused work placements in Wales and the rest of the UK
- short courses including, but not exclusive to: "Finance for Freelancers, CV Development; Risk Assessment for the Media Industry; the Role of the Production Manager"
- specialised courses run by the BBC and other industry training providers, according to the specialism you are following
- one-to-one mentoring from industry practitioners
- intensive induction and exit programmes
During the scheme, SSAW will also develop an individual training plan for each trainee.

Their trainee film, 'One of the Crowd', featuring Welsh comic actor Johnny Owen was presented to a panel on the 5th of February and is now online as well as being screened across the UK on BBC Big Screens.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or over
- Applicants must have graduated from a SSAW course in the academic year 06/07, 07/08, 08/09 or 09/10
- Current students are eligible to apply if they graduate before the start of the course dates below
